Ajax is considering a return for Noa Lang as the club seeks a potential successor for Mika Godts. On Sunday, it was reported that the Amsterdam club is in contact with the 27-year-old Napoli left winger, who also holds Surinamese nationality. It was stated that Ajax has already initiated contact with Lang. Lang was permitted to leave Napoli as of Saturday. The Serie A club, which previously paid €28 million for the Dutch international and also loaned him to Galatasaray, has reportedly offered him to other teams.
Napoli is said to be open to a loan deal, provided it includes a purchase option that would become mandatory if certain performance criteria are met. Lang, who has 17 caps and 3 goals for the Netherlands, is under contract with Napoli until June 2030 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €22.00m. Roma, Club Brugge, and Fiorentina have also been linked with the player. Napoli's reported price tag for Lang was €25 million in August 2026, while their asking price was reported at €27 million in January 2026.
