AFC Bournemouth is the latest club interested in Inter's 26-year-old Italian midfielder, Davide Frattesi. It is reported that Frattesi has expressed a preference to leave during the January transfer window to avoid losing his place in the national team due to limited playing time. The midfielder has 33 caps and 8 goals for Italy and has made 9 league appearances without scoring this season. At the Premier League club, Tiago Pinto may be in a position to advance a deal following recent sales.
However, any potential move for the midfielder is currently delayed because of an injury to Hakan Calhanoglu. The situation is expected to become a more active possibility in the coming days, following the Turkish player's anticipated recovery at the end of the month. Other clubs are also monitoring the situation, including Galatasaray, who remain interested, and Juventus. To facilitate a departure, Inter might need to consider a loan with an option to buy instead of a permanent transfer. Frattesi's contract with Inter, which he joined in July 2024, runs until June 2028. Recent reports have detailed a proposed deal with Galatasaray for a total package of €35 million, while Inter's general asking price has been cited as being in the €30-35 million range.
