In July 2025, Olympique de Marseille was reportedly asking AS Roma for approximately €15 million. The same month, his loan move from Marseille to Sassuolo was completed for a reported €2.5M fee. Earlier, in May 2025, it was reported that Rennes declined to activate a €14 million purchase option following a loan spell that began in February 2025 for a €1M fee. His transfer from Watford to Marseille in July 2024 was reportedly for €12 million, following his move from CF Montréal to Watford in January 2023 for €8 million.

Our valuation is driven by a series of recent and specific figures. While Olympique Marseille purchased Ismael Koné for €12M and later set a €14M purchase option for Rennes (which was declined), the most definitive data point is the reported €10M mandatory purchase option agreed with Sassuolo. This recent agreement sets a firm and realistic floor, which we adopt as our most likely estimate, with the upper range capped slightly above his initial transfer fee to Marseille.
