In July 2025, Gaëtan Perrin completed a transfer from Auxerre to Krasnodar for a fee reported between €4.5 million and €5 million. Around that time, his market value was estimated by Transfermarkt at €8 million. This followed a rejected initial offer from Krasnodar in June 2025, reportedly valued at €3 million. Earlier, in January 2025, an offer from Chicago Fire of less than €5 million was also reportedly turned down by Auxerre. In May 2025, his Transfermarkt valuation was listed as €6 million.

Our valuation is driven by the recently completed transfer from Auxerre to Krasnodar in July 2025. The fee was consistently reported between €4.5 million and €5 million, which was agreed upon with only one year remaining on his Auxerre contract. This figure is further supported by Auxerre's prior rejection of a €3 million bid from Krasnodar and an offer of less than €5 million from Chicago Fire.
