Zvonimir Petrović Transfer from Arka Gdynia to Miedź Legnica
Zvonimir Petrović, a 24-year-old midfielder, has transferred from Arka Gdynia to Miedź Legnica. He had joined Arka Gdynia in January from Kotwica Kołobrzeg and played only nine matches last season due to a muscle injury. This season, he was included in the match squad only once in five Ekstraklasa games. Petrović had previously been on the radar of Śląsk Wrocław in case of Piotr Samiec-Talar's departure, but ultimately signed with Miedź Legnica. He agreed to a contract that extends until June 30, 2027, with an option for a further 12 months. Holding Croatian citizenship, Petrović expressed his enthusiasm for joining Miedź Legnica, noting that the coach personally contacted him and outlined the club's project and goals for the season. With his experience in the I liga and having achieved two promotions to Ekstraklasa, Petrović aims to replicate such success with Miedź Legnica. His transfer is part of a broader recruitment strategy by Miedź Legnica, which also included the arrival of several other players during the summer window.
