French clubs Annecy, Rodez, and Guingamp are among several teams competing to sign 23-year-old French-Algerian QPR left-back Ziyad Larkeche on loan. The defender joined the club in July 2023 and is not currently preferred by manager Julien Stéphan. It is reported that QPR are prepared to approve his departure. Barnsley are also interested in bringing Larkeche back for a second loan spell. Additional interest has come from newly-promoted Bromley and Gareth Ainsworth's Gillingham, although a move to the League Two side is considered unlikely. Larkeche has been capped six times by France at the U20 level. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €700k. In the 2025/2026 season, his domestic league appearances included 20 games in the Championship and 18 in League One, along with a spell in the Scottish Premiership where he made 22 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.
