French clubs Annecy, Rodez, and Guingamp are interested in signing QPR's French-Algerian defender Ziyad Larkeche on loan, as the 23-year-old is not in manager Julien Stéphan's plans. QPR is willing to approve a loan move for the left-back before the transfer window closes. The League One team Barnsley is interested in Larkeche returning for a second spell at the club. Interest in Larkeche also comes from the newly-promoted Bromley and from Gillingham, where his former QPR manager Gareth Ainsworth is, although a move to League Two is considered unlikely. Larkeche, who joined the club in July 2023, has six caps for France at the U20 level and a current market value of €700k according to Transfermarkt. During the 2025/2026 season, he made 20 appearances in the Championship and 18 in League One.
