French clubs Annecy, Rodez, and Guingamp are interested in signing 23-year-old French-Algerian QPR defender Ziyad Larkeche on loan. Larkeche is not in manager Julien Stéphan's plans, and it is reported that QPR are ready to approve his departure before the transfer deadline. The League One team Barnsley is interested in bringing the player back for a second loan spell. Newly-promoted Bromley is also interested in signing him. While former QPR boss Gareth Ainsworth is interested in a reunion at Gillingham, it is considered unlikely that Larkeche would be willing to move to a League Two club. Larkeche, who joined QPR in July 2023, has been capped six times by France at the U20 level. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 20 appearances in the Championship and 18 in League One.
