Žan Bešir is moving to Scotland and has become a Dundee player, following a relegation from the Slovenian top division. Dundee FC has officially confirmed the arrival of the 25-year-old Slovenian central midfielder, who is a former Primorje footballer. He has signed a two-year contract that includes an option to extend it by one more season. The transfer will be completed once all the necessary international clearances and a work visa have been obtained. Bešir left Primorje at the end of June after his contract expired. Head coach Steven Pressley revealed that there was considerable interest in Žan Bešir, stating that several clubs were interested in him and that they are very pleased to have successfully completed the transfer and that he has become a Dundee player. Bešir has one cap for the Slovenia U21 team, and his current market value is estimated at €300k by Transfermarkt. In the Slovenian Prva Liga, he made 112 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.
