Atalanta Bergamo is reportedly targeting 28-year-old Zaidu Sanusi and working privately to sign him. Internal sources at the club claim the Serie A team has contacted FC Porto's management regarding the contractual situation of the Nigerian left-back, whose contract expires in June 2027. The Italian club wants to strengthen its defensive line with the player. Although Sanusi is in talks with FC Porto's board for a possible extension, the Portuguese club would not be against his departure this summer if an offer of around 7 million euros is made. The site Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 3 million euros. Sanusi joined Porto in August 2020 and has 30 caps for the Nigerian national team.
