Yuri Alberto Transfer from Corinthians to Roma

Yuri Alberto's agent, André Cury, traveled to Rome, Italy. According to ESPN, the player was not the primary subject of the agent's trip, which included other negotiations. Roma will look for a striker in the next transfer window, a situation that reinforces Yuri as a possibility. The club had previously indicated to Corinthians their interest in the player, offering 27 million euros, but the discussions did not progress. Corinthians holds 50% of the player's rights and has an outstanding debt with Cury. Neto, a former Corinthians player, discussed the potential move, stating that based on information he has, Yuri Alberto will not stay for the next year and is going to Roma. Neto added that he does not know if the fee will be 30 million euros, thinking it will be more and could reach approximately 40 million euros. There is an ongoing interaction between the parties, but it is too early to guarantee the transfer.

Corinthians rejected a 30 million euro offer from Roma for Yuri Alberto, as they couldn't negotiate due to the transfer ban.

Roma wants to acquire Yuri Alberto from Corinthians before the transfer window closes on September 1st. The Italian club has sent a proposal of 27 million euros with potential bonuses included. The information was first reported by presenter Benjamin Back and confirmed by ESPN.

Corinthians received a proposal of R$ 171 million from Roma for Yuri Alberto. The Italian team needs to finalize the deal by Monday (1st), the closing date of the transfer window, to secure the forward.

Yuri Alberto, a player for Corinthians, is being monitored by Roma as a potential acquisition. Although no proposals have been received by Corinthians, Roma has shown interest alongside Atlético de Madrid and Everton. His European passport adds appeal as it won't occupy a foreign player slot in the team. His price is estimated at US$ 25 million.
