NAC Breda investigated a transfer this month for 26-year-old Moroccan-Dutch striker Youssef El Kachati, who has a supporting role at NEC due to strong competition. The striker reportedly saw little appeal in a move to NAC and seems to have a preference for a temporary return to Telstar, where he played last season after a particularly productive year. It is not known whether Telstar is currently making a concrete effort to secure his arrival. El Kachati joined NEC in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. In the current Eredivisie season, he has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight appearances. The former Morocco U23 international has a current market value of €700k, according to Transfermarkt.
