Genk is reportedly interested in signing Youssef Ben Said, a 16-year-old offensive midfielder from Hannover who also holds German citizenship. The Belgian club is targeting the top prospect from the team currently fifth in the 2. Bundesliga. Ben Said is a Tunisian U17 youth international with two caps, and for his club's U17 team this season, he has scored seven goals and provided five assists in eighteen matches. With his contract expiring at the end of June and a new one not having been signed, Genk could potentially acquire him for a training compensation fee estimated to be around €150,000. There is also said to be interest in the player from France.
