According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, multiple clubs approached Ajax for Youri Baas in the past week. Eintracht Frankfurt was seriously interested, but FC Porto's interest is the most concrete.

Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that the potential transfer of Youri Baas to Eintracht Frankfurt could become significant, as the German club is losing their left central defender with the departure of Theate.

Youri Baas is a candidate for Eintracht Frankfurt, who are seeking a left-footed defender, but he is not their highest priority. According to Fussballtransfers, Baas is one of the alternatives if the primary target is not feasible. Voetbal International reported that Ajax is willing to cooperate in a transfer of the 23-year-old Baas. Technical director Jordi Cruijff believes a potential departure could be compensated for with Dies Janse.

Eintracht Frankfurt is making efforts to strengthen its squad before the season starts, and Youri Baas, a Dutch Centre-Back from Ajax Amsterdam, is a target on Markus Krösche's list. The 23-year-old, left-footed player is noted for his defensive flexibility, and a potential transfer could be completed by Deadline Day. Baas is contracted to his youth club until 2028, but Ajax would likely be prepared to sell him if an appropriate offer is submitted. The potential transfer fee that the Dutch club would demand and the amount Frankfurt is willing to pay are not clear. Baas has not yet played for the Netherlands at the senior level and has a current market value of €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
