Young leaving São Paulo?
According to Globo.com, São Paulo is negotiating to rescind Young's contract. The club and Young have already agreed on the main terms for the contract rescission, but the process is pending financial approval from the club's finance department as São Paulo owes image rights and other values to the player. The parties still need to define a payment schedule according to the club's cash flow. While the amount to be paid for the rescission has been agreed upon, a lack of funds is delaying the process. The rescission is awaiting an influx of funds, possibly linked to an agreement with Ticketmaster which is expected to provide R$ 140 million within 45 days of the contract signing. In the meantime, Young continues to train separately from the main squad.
