FC Groningen is interested in acquiring Younes Taha as a replacement for Luciano Valente, who appears to be on his way to Feyenoord. Groningen had previously explored Taha's interest in a transfer last season, but he decided to remain at FC Twente. FC Twente is open to a loan arrangement. Taha is regarded as technically skilled, versatile in forward positions, and adept at both scoring and assisting. Groningen considers Taha a player who requires more game time, particularly following his recent serious injury, as indicated by FC Twente's technical director, Jan Streuer. In addition to Groningen, sc Heerenveen has also expressed interest in Taha. Marouane El Idrissi, Taha's agent, noted that Taha's preference is to succeed at Twente, but he views Groningen as a wonderful club to demonstrate his talents if Twente's technical staff does not share the same vision.
