Yassine Zakir, a 28-year-old left midfielder at Metaloglobus, is nearing a transfer to Darmstadt, a club currently third in Germany's second division with a strong chance of promotion to the Bundesliga. The German club is prepared to pay between 300,000 and 400,000 euros for the Dutch player of Moroccan origin. Metaloglobus, which is last in the Superliga, is willing to let its top scorer this season leave; he has recorded five goals and one assist in 19 SuperLiga appearances.
