Yassine Kechta, a 24-year-old Franco-Moroccan midfielder, signed with Spanish second division club Leganés on Sunday evening. The Paris-born player was a free agent after his contract with his formative club, Le Havre, ended. He had won the Ligue 2 title with Le Havre in 2023. Kechta has signed a contract that runs until 2030. Leganés, who finished 16th last season, communicated that an agreement was reached for his arrival for the next four seasons and that he is the club's fourth signing. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a market value of €4.00m. He has not yet been capped by Morocco and had also been linked with Standard Liège.
