Ouest France reports that FC Nantes is close to finalizing its first departure as part of a squad reduction effort. The player is 23-year-old French-Algerian winger Yassine Benhattab, who is set to be loaned to Stade de Reims until the end of the season. The loan agreement includes a purchase option that is expected to be around €4 million. Benhattab was previously identified by Ouest France as one of five summer signings the club was seeking to transfer. Benhattab joined Nantes on August 30, 2024, and his contract is set to expire on June 30, 2028. In the current 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, he has made 10 appearances without scoring a goal or providing an assist. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.80m.
