Amstetten's sporting director Thomas Gebauer stated that with Yannick Vötter they were able to sign a player who brings an extremely exciting profile and gives their offense additional quality as well as more unpredictability. Gebauer said Vötter's versatility is a major asset, as he can be used in all offensive positions and can also make important contributions in central areas. He added that Vötter already has valuable experience at the Bundesliga level. Yannick Vötter said he decided to make the move to take a new path. Vötter stated that the talks with the sporting director and coach were very good and he sees this as the best opportunity for him to develop further. He said his goal for the season is to help the team succeed with good performances. Vötter made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga for WSG Tirol during the 2025/2026 season and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €250k.
