The reason for this change is Sommer's weak performance in the recent 3:4 loss against Juventus Turin. Sommer's contract expires next summer, and he is expected to leave Inter at that time as the club is beginning the 'post-Sommer era.'

If Andre Onana returns to Inter, Yann Sommer, who has been linked to Galatasaray, would leave the Italian club.
