Lechia Gdańsk is in advanced negotiations to sign goalkeeper Yann Lienard from AS Monaco. The club is actively seeking a new goalkeeper and considers the 23-year-old Frenchman an important target, particularly if a deal for another player, Axel Holewiński from Pogoń Szczecin, is not finalized. Lechia had also attempted to acquire Lienard a year earlier. Lienard has been capped 8 times for the France U20 team, joined AS Monaco in July 2023, and has a contract with the club until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €100k.
