Yvan Le Mee, the agent for Yanis Massolin, confirmed that Villarreal and PSV had wanted to sign the 23-year-old French-Algerian attacking midfielder. Le Mee stated that Massolin intends to demonstrate his abilities at Inter and wants to remain with the club. The agent explained that coach Chivu will evaluate the player at the end of August, after which a decision will be made on whether he will remain or be sent on loan to another Serie A side if he is not deemed ready.
