Xavi Simons leaving RB Leipzig?

However, PSG promised to respect Simons' will if he does not feel like returning to Parc des Princes. There is a pact between PSG and Simons whereby Simons can choose his destination in case there is another loan. The Parisian club will not put obstacles in this sense to the footballer, who could have decided his future before participating in the Euerocopa with the selection trained by Ronald Koeman.

While RB Leipzig hopes to keep him, Simons does not rule out the possibility of returning to Barça. It remains to be seen whether PSG will allow him to move to the rival club.

The club sees him as a versatile player who can play as a left winger, an attacking midfielder, or even as a number 10 behind the striker.

Marco Rose, the coach, expressed his confidence in keeping Xavi Simons for the next year, stating that the player seems comfortable and is developing well at Leipzig.

Leipzig's loan deal with Paris St. Germain regarding Xavi ends in the summer, RB would very much like to tie the 21-year-old offensive player for another year. The signals from both the young star himself and from PSG are positive. However, a further commitment of the Dutchman, who has immediately become a key player at the Saxons (kicker note 2.90/7 goals/13 assists), is probably also dependent on qualification for the Champions League.
