Willy Vogt, a 24-year-old Brazilian/Swiss right winger, has moved to Motherwell as one of manager Alfred Johannson's first additions to the squad. The forward joins the club after a year at AC Bellinzona, during which he scored a dozen goals. Vogt signed a two-year deal that includes a club option for an additional year. His new manager described him as an exciting player who will arrive in Scotland with confidence after an excellent season in Switzerland. The manager, after having numerous talks with Vogt, also stated his belief that the player will provide pace and flair and can contribute significantly in attack, citing his goal involvements last season as evidence. Vogt has been capped twice for the Switzerland U18 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €300k.
