Everton is one of several clubs, along with Crystal Palace, FC Bayern, and Bayer Leverkusen, to have requested information about centre-forward William Osula. Newcastle, who are known as the Magpies, are asking for a price of more than 46 million euros for the 22-year-old Danish international. Osula joined the club in August 2024 for a fee of €11.6 million. The club may be open to negotiations because the player is not a regular starter and because Newcastle needs to generate income. Potential transfers to Eintracht Frankfurt and Aston Villa in the past reportedly failed due to a lack of agreement on the transfer fee. Reports from late 2025 cited that Newcastle's asking price for the deal with Frankfurt was €30m. Osula is under contract until 2029, and the club's management does not intend to offer him an extension or a pay rise in reaction to the international interest. The player's side is increasingly considering a transfer because interested teams have made attractive contract proposals.
