Wesley, a 20-year-old Brazilian attacker who came through the Corinthians youth system, caused speculation among the club's supporters with his social media activity. He posted a photo of his visit to the Neo Química Arena at the end of last year, accompanied by a song called 'Louco Pra Voltar' ('Crazy to Come Back'), and also removed most photos from his profile, leaving just one from 2024 of him kissing the Corinthians crest. At the beginning of the year, Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus admitted that the Brazilian was on the list of negotiable players.
