Wesley Adeh Transfer from SV Werder Bremen to Preußen Münster

2h ago

According to Bild, Wesley Adeh has moved from Werder Bremen to Preußen Münster on loan. Adeh previously played for Werder Bremen's U23 team. Münster's Sportdirektor, Jan Uphues, described Adeh as a very talented and mature midfielder for his age, highlighting his quality, game intelligence, and dynamism. Adeh stated he was convinced by the club's determined and family-like environment, which he sees as a good place to develop. He also recalled the passionate fans from a previous test match at the stadium. Before the loan was arranged, Werder Bremen reportedly extended Adeh's professional contract as they did not want to sell him. This contract was first signed in January 2025. The loan is allegedly valued at 100,000 Euro. Peter Niemeyer, Leiter Profifußball at Werder Bremen, said the club is fully convinced of Adeh's qualities and believes the loan provides a good opportunity for him to get experience playing in matches at a higher level. Adeh, who has a market value of 250,000 Euro, progressed through all of Werder's youth teams and was named in the Bundesliga squad on three occasions without playing. The 19-year-old, who holds German and Nigerian citizenship, has 6 caps for the Germany U19 team. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 12 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists.
