Casarano is nearing an agreement for Latif Ouedraogo, a defensive winger born in 2007 who is owned by Genoa, as the Apulian club seeks to strengthen its left flank. The negotiation is in the final stages and could result in the young full-back, who is from Burkina Faso, joining the Salento team. Ouedraogo joined Genoa in January 2026 from Virtus Francavilla, where he made 18 appearances and provided one assist in Serie D. He subsequently played 10 games for Genoa's Primavera 1 squad and also made two appearances in Serie A during the 2025/2026 season.
