Rennes announced that Warmed Omari has been permanently transferred to Hambourg because HSV exercised the purchase option.

Warmed Omari joins Hamburg SV, a Bundesliga club, on loan with an option to buy. The announcement was made by the Breton club.

Warmed Omari, a defender at Rennes, is under contract until 2027. He was loaned to Lyon last season but played very little, with only three appearances in Ligue 1. Rennes is open to transferring him if a satisfactory offer is made. Hambourg SV, recently promoted to the Bundesliga, is currently negotiating with Rennes to secure his transfer.

Warmed Omari is expected not to stay at Olympique Lyonnais for the next year, as per the club's summer transfer strategy.
