In recent hours, new contacts have been made between the clubs and with the player. A basis for the transfer exists, but the deal depends on outgoing transfers from Monza's attack.

Monza is showing significant interest in Walid Cheddira, with their sporting director Nicolas Burdisso in continuous contact with Giovanni Manna of Napoli.
