Vladlen Yurchenko leaving Metalist 1925 Kharkiv?
Vladlen Yurchenko has reached a principal agreement with Zorya Luhansk for a transfer. He agreed to significantly reduce his salary to facilitate the move, allowing Zorya to strengthen their midfield with an experienced player. Yurchenko has previously played for Zorya during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons and is well-acquainted with the head coach Viktor Skrypnyk, who has recently returned to Zorya.
Vladlen Yurchenko, a midfielder not wanted by Metalist 1925's head coach Mladen Bartulovic, is likely to join Zorya Luhansk. Yurchenko previously played for Zorya during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons and is well-known to coach Viktor Skrypnyk, who returned to Zorya this summer. Skrypnyk sees Yurchenko as a suitable candidate to help the team compete for top positions and qualify for European competitions.
Vladlen Yurchenko, one of the leaders in the last season and instrumental in the team's return to the UPL, has left Metalist 1925 as he is no longer needed by coach Mladen Bartulovic. He has previously received call-ups to the Ukrainian national team. His contract with Metalist 1925 was set to expire in 2026. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market worth to be around 600,000 euros.
