Vladimír Coufal Transfer to TSG Hoffenheim

Vladimír Coufal has signed a one-year contract with TSG Hoffenheim. The club has signed him to cover for the injured Valentin Gendrey, who will be out until the end of the year. Andreas Schicker, Sport Director at TSG, expressed confidence in Coufal's ability to adapt quickly to the Bundesliga due to his experience in the English Premier League and his excellent mentality and individual quality.

Vladimír Coufal, a 32-year-old right-back, is on the verge of joining TSG Hoffenheim. According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between the currently clubless player and the Bundesliga club from Kraichgau. Sky has reported that Coufal has already passed the first part of his medical examination, with the second part slated for today. Previously, Coufal was contracted with West Ham United until the end of June. TSG Hoffenheim is bringing him on board as a response to Valentin Gendrey's injury, which is expected to sideline him until the end of the year due to a broken right outer ankle and a torn syndesmosis ligament. The Czech international, with 55 caps to his name, offers substantial experience to the team, fulfilling the urgent need for a robust defensive substitute.
