Vincenzo Millico Transfer from Ternana to Casarano
According to Tuttomercato, Casarano Calcio has officially acquired Vincenzo Millico, a versatile forward. The club announced the acquisition, highlighting Millico's football journey from his beginnings at Atletico Mirafiori to his time at Juventus starting in 2008. Millico, who was born in Torino and is originally from Bari, spent three years at Juventus before moving to Torino in 2014. He advanced through Torino's youth ranks and made his Serie A debut at the age of 17. During the 2019-2020 season, he joined the first team and made his debut in the Europa League. In January 2021, he transferred to Serie B side Frosinone, followed by a loan to Cosenza where he appeared 20 times and scored three goals, before returning to Torino. He later moved to Cagliari, making 15 appearances, and in 2023, he transferred to Ascoli where he played 10 matches. In 2024, Millico joined Foggia permanently in Serie C, concluding the season with 15 appearances and two goals. By January 2025, he had moved to Ternana before being signed by Casarano in 2025.
Tuttomercato has reported that Casarano is interested in Vincenzo Millico following his time with Foggia and Ternana last season. Despite playing for these teams, Millico did not score any goals. Casarano, eager to make a mark in Serie C after their return, is focused on strengthening their squad to ensure they are not just participants in the league but competitive contenders. The club's president, Antonio Filograna, and sporting director, Antonio Obbiettivo, are said to be actively seeking strategic signings to enhance the team's performance, with Millico identified as a primary target according to Antennasud.
