Fiorentina has nearly completed the signing of 21-year-old Brazilian defender Viery from Gremio after offering 17 million euros. The club faced competition from Inter, Juventus, Brighton, Benfica, and Newcastle. Viery joined Grêmio in February 2025 and has a contract until the end of 2029.
