Efforts were made to loan 24-year-old Bosnian goalkeeper Vedad Muftić to a club in Cyprus. He will continue to train with AEK and a new attempt will be made in January for him to continue his career elsewhere. Muftić joined AEK Larnaca in July 2026 and has a contract with the club until May 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €400k, and he has not been capped by the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team.
