Serie A club Lazio has shown interest in ÖFB U21 national team player Vasilije Markovic. The Roman club is said to be looking at the 18-year-old midfielder. Markovic recently scored his first competitive goal for Wiener Austria. A departure from Austria this season is considered extremely unlikely, as Markovic's contract at Verteilerkreis runs until the summer of 2028.
