Le Mans, who have been newly promoted to Ligue 1, are reportedly interested in signing centre-back Michel Mboula from Metz, a club recently relegated to Ligue 2. The 23-year-old Gabonese international, who has 13 caps, wishes to continue playing at the highest level. Mboula joined Metz in July 2025. Other clubs such as PAOK Salonique, Young Boys Berne, Famalicao, and some Italian teams are also interested in the player, whose contract with Metz extends until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
