According to a report by Transfermarkt.de, Holstein Kiel would like to loan German U21 international Umut Tohumcu from TSG Hoffenheim in their search for midfield reinforcements. Tohumcu is under contract with Hoffenheim until 2028, has been considered a candidate for departure for some time, and has been intensely linked with a transfer to Galatasaray. The report also specified that Kiel views Tohumcu as an addition to, rather than an alternative for, their other target Jonas Meffert.
