Galatasaray, aiming to strengthen its domestic player options during the transfer window, has included Alanyaspor's Ümit Akdağ on its list of targets following his performances this season. The 22-year-old player, who can play as a left-back and a left-sided center-back, has scored one goal and provided two assists in 16 appearances. Akdağ also previously played in the Chelsea youth academy. The Turkish and Romanian dual national, who has 10 caps and two goals for the Romania U21 team, joined Alanyaspor in July 2022 and his contract is valid until June 2028. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt. Trabzonspor has also been linked with the defender.
