Jamaican striker Trivante Stewart is set to transfer from Serbian club Radnički Niš to Maccabi Haifa for a fee of 1.5 million euros, to be paid in two installments. This transaction represents a record sale for Radnički. Stewart is traveling to Israel today and still needs to complete medical examinations, although the agreement between the clubs has already been finalized. Radnički initially signed him from Salernitana for 80,000 euros, and Salernitana is entitled to a percentage of this transfer. The 25-year-old, who had attracted interest from Bulgarian club Levski and Partizan Belgrade, did not attend Radnički's training camp in Bulgaria or their friendly match against CSKA. The transfer signifies a historic event for Radnički, with club president Ivica Tonchev expressing his confidence that a replacement for Stewart would soon be announced.
