Tristan Wagner is moving from Regionalliga Nordost club Greifswalder FC to Eintracht Braunschweig. The 20-year-old German all-rounder has signed a contract with the second-division team until 2029. Wagner can play in central midfield as well as in both full-back positions. Sporting director Benjamin Kessel stated that Wagner is a talented player who is convincing due to his high versatility and game intelligence. Kessel added that despite his youth, he has already established himself in the demanding Regionalliga Nordost with consistently good performances, and that it is part of the club's philosophy to support talented players in their development. Wagner joined Greifswalder in July 2025 and in the 2025/2026 season made 33 appearances in the Regionalliga Nordost, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.
