Inter Miami is attempting to sign Vancouver Whitecaps defender Tristan Blackmon. The 29-year-old United States international is the reigning MLS Defender of the Year, and his club finished as MLS Cup runners-up. A $3 million bid has been made by the Herons, but Tom Bogert of The Athletic reports that the Whitecaps are not looking to trade Blackmon. Blackmon, who has two caps for the United States, joined Vancouver in December 2021 and his contract runs until the end of 2027. His current Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m.
