Triantafyllos Tsapras Transfer from Levadiakos to Panathinaikos
Vasilis Sambrakos stated that AEK does not want Tsapras to go to Panathinaikos because Panathinaikos might offer more money or use the relationship between Giannis Kompotis and Giannis Alafouzos. Sambrakos mentioned that the owner of Levadiakos might ask for 1 million euros for Tsapras, citing the 2 million euros paid for Tetteh and 1 million for Pantelidis.
Gazzetta.gr has reported that Panathinaikos is acquiring Triantafyllos Tsapras from Levadiakos. The 24-year-old right-footed back is taking a significant step forward in his career following an impressive previous season, where he made 31 appearances, scored 3 goals, and provided 5 assists. It was noted that Panathinaikos had long planned to revamp its defensive lineup by replacing Giannis Kotsiras with a younger and promising player, forming a defensive duo with Giorgos Vagiannidis under the guidance of coach Rui Vitoria. Tsapras, who has played 131 matches for Levadiakos, scoring 12 goals and assisting 17 times, had attracted interest from other major Super League teams, which underscored his growing reputation in Greek football.
