Triantafyllos Tsapras Transfer from Levadiakos to AEK Athens

According to Giorgos Tsakiris, AEK has an interest in Levadiakos right-back Triantafyllos Tsapras, a situation that is linked to the contract renewal of Lazaros Rota. Rota's contract expires in the summer, and negotiations are ongoing, with the player reportedly asking for €1 million per year while AEK has offered €800,000. Club owner Marios Iliopoulos has become personally involved to help secure an agreement. If Rota extends his contract, AEK will continue to monitor Tsapras. However, if Rota leaves, the club is expected to pursue the Levadiakos player more dynamically. Tsakiris mentioned that AEK is aware that Panathinaikos had contact with Levadiakos for the player in the summer, but a transfer did not happen as Levadiakos was unwilling to sell at the time. He added that Tsapras currently does not have an agent, is not in a hurry to find one, and trusts the management of Levadiakos. Separately, Nikos Athanasiou expressed uncertainty about any current interest from Panathinaikos, noting they have Calabria, Kotsiras, and Gendtva as options in that position.
