Algerian centre-back Toufik Cherifi, 24, has reportedly chosen to return to his training club, despite concrete interest from several Libyan teams. Cherifi, who has one cap for the Algeria U23 national team, joined his current club, Club Africain, in January 2022. His contract there runs until June 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €150k.
