According to sources, Forest are considering a summer loan deal for Setford, who joined Mikel Arteta's side from Ajax in 2024. A Nottingham Forest scout was in attendance to watch the goalkeeper's appearance against Wigan in the FA Cup last weekend. It is also understood that former Forest striker Pierre van Hooijdonk is acting as an intermediary for a potential transfer, as he is part of the PUM agency that represents Setford. Setford's contract with Arsenal runs until June 30, 2028, and he has made 7 appearances in the Premier League 2 this season.
