Polish centre-forward Tomasz Walczak is departing Raków Częstochowa to join Zemplín Michalovce of the Slovak top division. The transfer is reportedly in its final stages and is a cash transaction, with the Slovak club paying a fee exceeding 100,000 euros. Raków Częstochowa will also get a percentage from any future transfer of Walczak. The 20-year-old had received interest during the winter from other foreign teams, as well as some Ekstraklasa and Polish first division clubs. This followed a period where he spent the first half of the season in Raków's reserves after a failure to reach an agreement on his future with the club in the summer.
