Galatasaray has reportedly asked Victor Osimhen to assist in persuading his compatriot, 25-year-old Nigerian international Tolu Arokodare, to join the club. This comes amidst growing interest from several Turkish teams following Wolverhampton Wanderers' relegation. According to Turkish journalist Zeki Uzundurukan, Trabzonspor are said to have made the first official move by submitting a loan proposal. Besiktas have also been monitoring the striker and previously had a verbal €15 million inquiry rejected by Wolves, while also reportedly asking Daniel Amokachi and Wilfred Ndidi to help persuade the player. Fenerbahce have also shown interest in the forward. Despite the interest, Wolves would prefer a permanent sale to recover a significant portion of the £24 million they paid to sign Arokodare from Genk. Arokodare, who has 10 caps and 2 goals for Nigeria, is contracted until 2029 and scored 3 goals in 33 Premier League appearances in the 2025/2026 season. Reports from April 2026 suggest Wolves might accept an offer between €15 million and €18 million, which follows reports in March 2026 that the club had requested between €25 million and €30 million.
