Tokmac Nguen: Djurgården Contract Extension
Norwegian centre-forward Tokmac Nguen, 32, has an expiring contract and does not rule out signing a new one. Nguen told Sportbladet that the last time, it did not feel like his last home match. He stated that, as he had said before, he has an expiring contract and there is not much more to it. Nguen added that if he stays, he stays, and if he moves on, he moves on, but he has become very fond of Djurgården and can absolutely see himself staying. He also said that many people are involved and that due to many matches, he has not had time to talk to anyone at all, not even his own agent. Nguen stated they will see after the season and sit down with those involved to see what fits best. Djurgården's sporting director, Bosse Andersson, told Sportbladet that they have not discussed whether Nguen will stay in Djurgården or not. Andersson added that Nguen has had a good autumn and they will sum it up afterwards. Nguen has one cap for Norway and joined Djurgårdens IF in March 2024. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €1.00m.
